Wauna La-Mon'tay Lodge Chief
Vy is serving as the Wauna La-Mon'tay Lodge Chief this year. She is from Portland, Oregon, and is a member of Wauna La-Mon'tay Lodge. Vy has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and currently serves as the Wauna La-Mon'tay Lodge Chief and Section G16 Brand & Design Team Lead. She has previously served as the 2025 Wauna Membership Vice Chief and 2025 Section Social Media Team Lead, as well as on staff for Conclave Training, CVC Meriwether, Butte Creek, and the National Jamboree. She has also served as various chairs at prior Wauna events. Vy is an NLS participant. Outside of Scouting, she enjoys reading, crafts, keeping rabbits, sewing, and swimming in the ocean. Vy attends Oregon State University, where she studies economics with a focus in agriculture and business management. She plans to pursue bachelor's degrees in both fields, consider a master's degree in one, and apply her efforts to the agricultural business industry. Vy's favorite OA memory is sleeping under the stars on Meriwether Beach in 2021, shortly after COVID, while completing the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge with members of her troop. The experience of seeing the sky filled with stars and life inspired her to stay in Scouting.
